ISCB Student Travel Fellowships Offered - Don't Miss Out!

If you are a student or post doc member of ISCB who will be presenting a paper or poster at ECCB or PSB, did you know you can apply for travel fellowship funds supported directly from the Society to help defray your costs to attend these conferences?

The deadlines are approaching fast, so submit your funding appli¬cations immediately:

ECCB Application Deadline:
Thursday, June 30, 2005*

Application Form: www.iscb.org/travel_fellowship_form.php
* Please note that the travel fellowship application deadline through ECCB directly has already closed, but members may still apply through ISCB for an extended period.

PSB Application Deadline:
Monday, August 15,2005

Application Form: psb.stanford.edu
All applicants for PSB travel fellowships must be made directly through the PSB website.

Although ISCB does not directly organize or own these conferences, the leaders of our Society are highly supportive of the excellent science presented at these annual conferences, and recognize them as outstanding educational opportunities for the young members of our field. Therefore, the board of directors approved 2005 funding to support student travel to ECCB and PSB, as well as RECOMB which was held in May.
