ISMB 2008 is now accepting submissions for the following areas:

ISMB 2008 is pleased to announce funding opportunities for students and postdoctoral fellows to present a talk or poster at the conference in Toronto, Canada. The conference organizers are committed to providing support to as many eligible applicants from as many corners of the world as possible. Visual Reflections on Science is an event organized by the ISCB Student Council, a student-led section of ISCB whose mission is the development of the next generation of computational biologists.

For ISMB 2008 Visual Reflections on Science (VRS) Session the organizers invite all interested conference attendees (hereafter referred to as "artists") to submit such images and videos ("artworks") that have been generated as part of a research project. To find out more about submitting images and videos highlighting creative efforts that involve scientific concepts or employ scientific tools and methods please visit our VRS instructions page.

ISMB 2008 Demonstrations allow organizations to showcase their software and/or hardware relevant to the bioinformatics / molecular biology community.

Call for Industry Track - Submission Deadline: May 7, 2008

The ISMB 2008 Industry Track brings together people from both academia and industry in a venue that highlights innovative applications and practical impact studies of Life Science Informatics. The Industry Track is a special track at the conference providing presenters with the opportunity to present their work, demonstrate software (optional), and answer questions.
