In the next installment of the ISCBacademy webinar series, Christian Landry will present “Evolution of gene duplication: From redundancy to dependency,” exploring how gene duplication reshapes cellular networks and drives the evolution of novel biological functions and molecular complexes. Drawing on multidisciplinary approaches including high-throughput screening, genome editing, and structural biology, this talk will examine how redundancy can give rise to new dependencies within the cell.
