Submissions are open for the Great Plains Bioinformatics Conference!

The inaugural Great Plains Bioinformatics conference will be happening in Omaha, Nebraska this September! 

Organized jointly by the Nebraska University Regents Center for Biomedical Informatics Research and Innovation, the University of Nebraska Omaha, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the meeting will provide an interdisciplinary forum for scientific discussion and foster long-term collaborative relationships and networking opportunities.

Right now, all submissions for the conference are open! 

🎤 Abstracts

Submit an abstract to present your research as a talk or poster at the first Great Plains Bioinformatics Conference. Researchers across bioinformatics and computational biology are invited to share original work and be part of this inaugural event!

Abstracts should be approximately 250 words.

📄 Proceedings

Scientists and professionals are invited to submit high-quality original research papers for presentation at the meeting. Papers are welcome across the full spectrum of bioinformatics and computational biology.

Accepted papers will be presented as talks at the conference and considered for inclusion in a special issue of Bioinformatics Advances

🧑‍🏫 Tutorials

Propose a tutorial for the Great Plains Bioinformatics Conference and help provide hands-on training in emerging and established topics across bioinformatics!

Tutorials are designed to build practical knowledge and introduce participants to new methods, tools, and research areas. Sessions should include hands-on exercises and provide a balanced overview of the topic.

Proposals are welcome across a wide range of topics, including areas such as single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, protein and DNA language models, drug design, multi-omics data integration, network biology, and biomedical image analysis.
