Capitol Peak Lodge offers studio to three bedroom luxury condominiums in the heart of Snowmass Base Village, a short walk from the Viceroy, as well as the ski lifts. We have onsite Guest Services, complimentary transportation to and from the Aspen Airport, as well as within Snowmass Village.

VICEROY HOTEL POLICIES
Room rate includes: Round trip Aspen airport transfers, WI-fi access, complimentary fitness, complimentary airport transportation and village transportation, 24 hour fitness studio access. Resort fees have been waived for the Rocky attendees.

Taxes: The hotel rates will be subject to all state, county and city taxes in effect at the time of the Rocky 2018 meeting. State tax is currently 14.3% and 1.5% Snowmass Base Village Assessment charge and are subject to change.

Payment Policy
• At Reservation: Hotel will require a non-refundable advanced deposit equal to 50% of the total room revenue, 12.8% tax and 1.5% Snowmass Base Village Assessment for each reservation.
• 30 days prior to arrival: The remaining balance will be automatically charged as a second advanced deposit to the credit card guaranteeing that reservation 30 days prior to their arrival, and will also be non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy
• Cancellation 31 days or more prior to arrival, the individual will not be refunded their initial 50% deposit.
• Cancellation on or after 30 days prior to arrival, the individual will not be refunded their deposit on file (equal to their entire length of stay).

Parking: Valet Parking $20.00 per day

Room Rate includes: Capitol Peak Lodge offers studio to three bedroom luxury condominiums in the heart of Snowmass Base Village, a short walk from the Viceroy, as well as the ski lifts. We have onsite Guest Services, complimentary transportation to and from the Aspen Airport, as well as within Snowmass Village. Complimentary WIFI and the condo’s include fully stocked kitchens, dining areas, gas fireplaces, and private balconies. The 5.5% resort fee has been waived. A check out housekeeping clean is included in the nightly rate.

Tax Exempt Policy: Sales tax is 14.3%. If tax exempt, provide proof of tax exempt status. There is a 1.5% Base Village fee that is not considered tax exempt and will be added to your total.

Deposit & Cancellation Policies: Payment is due in full for reservations made within 30 days of arrival, and are nonrefundable.

LIFT TICKETS:

Discounted group lift tickets are available for all Rocky attendees. Please note these must be purchased in advance on the registration form.

SKI LIFT TICKET RULES

Group lift tickets will not work in Aspen Snowmass prior to the first day of group arrival Monday, December 3, 2018.  If you arriving earlier than this date, please contact "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." to make arrangements.  

Before skiing, each group member must remove the yellow label attached to their lift ticket and keep it in a safe place (i.e. Driver’s License, Credit Card, wallet, etc.). They may also take a picture of their ticket showing the ticket identifier (ASP#).  A ticket cannot be replaced without this ASP#.

Every group lift ticket is loaded with Mountain Advantages, which entitles group members to discounts at select Aspen Snowmass locations, such as Four Mountain Sports, Ski and Snowboard Schools, One Free Tubing Ride on the Tubing Hill in Snowmass and select on-mountain restaurants.

Group members must present both their group lift ticket and Mountain Advantage envelope in order to receive their discounts.

Please keep lift ticket in the ticket envelope, in their jacket pocket at all times - separate from their phone and/or wallet - not to interfere with their group lift ticket (Radio Frequency card) from scanning at our lift gates.   If purchasing more than one ticket, put ONLY ONE ticket in your pocket each day.

Four Mountain Sports is located inside the VICEROY hotel where the Rocky Conference is located. It also has 8 convenient locations within the Aspen/Snowmass area (at the base of each mountain). In addition to ski rentals, they provide additional services as listed below.

NOT JUST A RENTAL SHOP!
•    FREE ski and snowboard overnight storage. Simply hand your rental equipment over to Skier Services and they will store it overnight for free (normally $10)
•    FREE ski and snowboard overnight transfer to any of our four mountains. You can hand in your equipment at the corral at the base of each mountain and they will transfer your rental equipment for free (normally $10)
•    By having nine locations, this allows you to switch out your equipment at your convenience.

The International Society for Computational Biology, Inc. (ISCB) assumes that most people are intelligent and well-intended, and we're not inclined to tell people what to do. ISCB doesn’t condone harassment or offensive behavior, at our conference venues or anywhere. It's counter to our organization values. More importantly, it's counter to our values as human beings.

Abusive, racist, sexist, harassing, or threatening behavior towards any other participant or directed at any organizer, student volunteer, ISCB staff, convention center staff, or security will not be tolerated.

We invite you to help us make each ISCB conference a place that is welcoming and respectful to all participants, regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, national origin, ethnicity, or religion. This allows everyone the opportunity to focus on the conference itself, and the great networking and community richness that happens when we get together in person.
