In the auditorium of Centro Académico Cultural (CAC), the main auditorium, is a theater designed to host camera concerts. CAC is a cultural complex that hosts a beautiful library, the auditorium, and two small projection rooms.
Querétaro, with a colonial history key to the Indepence and Reforma wars, is now one of the most dynamic cities in Mexico, with a constant economic growth that now hosts important companies like Kia, Samsung, and LG. ISCB-Latin America SoIBio BioNetMX Symposium on Bioinformatics 2020, organized by the Bioinformatics Network Mexico (BioNetMX) together with the Iberoamerican Society of Bioinformatics (SoIBio) and the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) aims to promote scientific and professional exchange in bioinformatics across Latin America.
Bioinformatics brings together scientists from different disciplines, such as Biology, Informatics, Genomics, Mathematics, Statistics, Ecology, Medicine, etc, to solve relevant biological questions. This virtual symposium will bring together people from these areas (trainees, industry, and scientific leaders), and will provide a forum to showcase scientific developments. Importantly, this event will help the Bioinformatics community strengthen interactions within Latin America, a region that has shown great potential in the area.
This virtual symposium will provide the environment for the interchange of ideas between researchers developing algorithms and researchers with interesting problems that require new algorithms to be developed. Moreover, scientists with no or very little knowledge on informatics will have the opportunity to learn about the new findings in the development of high-end tools for the analysis of their biological data.

NONMEMBERS OF ISCB: Nonmembers will be able to join ISCB through the online conference registration system and immediately receive member rates for the ISCB-Latin America, SolBio and BioNetMX conference. You can either join when you register for the conference or you can join the ISCB here and then immediately register for the conference at the member rates.
ISCB MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL: If your ISCB membership is not current or will expire on or before Friday, October 30, 2020 you will be offered an opportunity to renew your membership as part of your registration fees through the online system.
