2005
Registration Now Open
ISCB membership
registration for 2005 is now live at www.iscb.org/membership.shtml
so please be sure to sign up now to activate your member benefits
for the new year without delay.
Due to the positive
feedback of the tiered dues categories introduced last year, we
are again featuring reduced fees for members from lower income economies.
By providing reduced rates to members from developing countries
we hope to make ISCB membership more accessible than ever before,
and welcome new members that might otherwise find it extremely difficult
or impossible to join the Society. Therefore, based on the World
Bank annual ranking of economies, the following dues structure (all
prices listed in US Dollars) has been implemented for 2005:
Professional
Members
$99 if working in a High Income Country
$40 if working in a Lower Middle or Upper Middle Income County
$20 if working in a Low Income Country
Students
& Post doc Members
$49 if studying/training in a High Income Country
$20 if studying/training in a Lower Middle or Upper Middle Income
County
$10 if studying/training in a Low Income Country
For both professional
and student/post doc memberships the 2005 pricing has remained the
same in the middle income categories, and has actually been reduced
in the low income categories as compared to ISCB’s 2004 dues
pricing. A link is available from the membership page of our site
to the World Bank ranking, so please be sure to check if you think
you might fall into one of the reduced rate categories.
As we open the
new membership year, we are pleased to highlight the very specific
tangible benefits membership in the ISCB can earn for you. All prices
below are listed in US Dollars unless otherwise noted, and are generally
based on professional membership categories. Student conference
discounts may be lower due to the traditionally lower starting price
of student registrations.
