We invite you to register for the upcoming second Asian Student Council Symposium (ASCS2023), an exciting event that aims to provide a platform for students and early career researchers to present their work to an international audience, build a network with the vibrant Asian community, and develop soft skills in an environment that connects the bright minds of Asia's emerging researchers to promote innovation and collaboration.

The symposium will be organized as a virtual event on 25th November 2023.

It will bring together leading experts in the fields of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology through keynote talks of Prof. Ranganathan (Macquarie University, Australia) & Prof. Rozen (Duke University School of Medicine, USA), a panel discussion on "Harmonizing Diversity: Uniting Disciplines in Bioinformatics" with our fantastic panel formed by Dr. Steinegger (Seoul National University, South Korea), Dr. Keat Yam (International Medical University, Malaysia) and Dr. Scaria (Vishwanath Cancer Care Foundation, India) besides hosting exciting competitions as well as talks by students and early career researchers in the form of oral, poster, and flash talk presentations.

The program updates can be followed up through our website, google group and social media handles.

Our event provides a unique opportunity for participants to gain valuable insight from fellow researchers, establish a network, and learn about cutting-edge research in the field.

Special Focus: This year's symposium will focus on the interdisciplinary nature of Computational Biology. Echoing ISCB’s objectives, our symposium welcomes researchers from all races, castes, genders, and regions around the world.

Registration is free for ISCB Members and attendees of partner conferences (InCoB 2023, GIW/ ISCB-Asia 2023, & ABACBS 2023). We offer (limited) registration fee waiver fellowships (so Hurry up!). For further details on registration, please visit our website here
