The ISCB is dedicated to furthering the study of bioinformatics and providing fellowships to students from around the globe to attend the Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology Conference (ISMB). These funds will be used to cover the costs of travel and registration for deserving students and PDF's to attend the conference.

In the past few years, we have had requests from scientists and students in foreign countries that are not eligible for inter-country travel grants provided for the ISMB conference. The grants provided by governments have been too restricted to allow these individuals to participate.

As such, we are asking our corporate affiliates to help support these individuals with Travel Fellowships to allow them to participate in the conference.

Travel Fellowships: US$1,500

Travel Fellowship Support Benefits

  • Helps support future of bioinformatics
  • Mention of company name from the podium at the ISMB conference
  • Company name listed in the official ISMB conference printed program
  • Company listed on ISMB web site travel fellowship page
