Travel Fellowship Application
RE-OPENED FOR QUEENSLAND STUDENTS ONLY

Applications for Travel fellowships are now open only for applicants who live in the state of Queensland, Australia. If you are not in this category, then your application will not be accepted.

ISCB is dedicated to furthering the study of bioinformatics by providing fellowships to students and postdoctoral research fellows from around the globe to attend the ISMB 2003 conference. Applicants will be required to register and pay the fees for the conference, air transportation and housing on their own, ISCB will provide a travel fellowship award check upon their arrival at the ISMB conference to help off-set some of the costs.

Students and postdoctoral research fellows wishing to apply for ISCB travel fellowships must be:

  • Registered in a degree program (undergraduate or graduate) or a postdoctoral research fellow at an accredited university or college at the time of ISMB 2003 attendance
  • Registered and planning to attend the ISMB 2003 conference in person
  • Presenting either a poster or a paper at ISMB 2003
Successful applicants may be required to present evidence of their eligibility status (such as student identity) before receiving any financial support.
