Science in Society Committee
The Science in Society Committee promotes the importance of computational biology professions and science communication worldwide. The committee endeavors to
- Influence legislation, regulation and funding as a reputable voice for computational biology;
- Build relationships with the media and the press increasing science communications;
- Educate and train the computational biology community on science communication to the public;
- Enhance the understanding in the public at large of science and the importance of scientific research
