The safety of conference participants is ISCB’s top priority. Please take a moment to review the ISMB Health and Safety Protocols at https://www.iscb.org/iscb-policy-statements/iscb-health-and-safety-protocols, which outline the right of entry requirement to the conference.
Special offer: For delegates registering no later than March 31, 2026, you are eligible for a full conference refund at any date prior to the opening day of the conference should your plans change.
Depending on where you live, you will need to meet certain entry requirements to visit the United States (USA). Detailed information on who can travel to the USA can be found on this site.
If you require a visa letter to support your application, please review the information here. We recommend this is completed after you register for the conference and no less than 12 weeks (April 19, 2026) in advance of the conference. Visa letters will still be processed after this date, but may not be approved in time.
Registration is for the full conference. Participants can choose to register to join in-person or virtually. In-person participants will have access to the virtual platform - ISCB Nucleus, the ISCB center for science, collaboration, and training.
Registration includes the following conference benefits:

- Live question and answer feature to engage with the speaker during sessions
- Asynchronous poster theater featuring the posters of the conference with interactive chat and author contact features

- Schedule one-on-one time with speakers, poster presenters, exhibitors, and sponsors to learn more about their work, products, or services
- Exclusive access to the on-demand repository of talks and poster presentations for viewing at your leisure after conference dates through the virtual platform
- Access to training workshops and tutorials (additional fee) - lunch included for full-day in-person tutorials.
- Access to Student Council Symposium (additional fee - coffee breaks included for in-person SCS)
- Coffee breaks are included for the conference along with an opening reception.
- Lunches WILL NOT be included, but you will have the opportunity to add them during your registration or eat at a nearby restaurant.
When you register, please ensure that you select your preferred programme options from the list of Communities of Special Interest (COSI) or other programme options.
Registration fees are in USD. Certificates of participation will be available on-line following the conference for registered delegates who actively participated.
ISCB strongly prefers that submissions accepted for oral presentation be presented in-person at the conference venue. We understand that some presenters will have good reasons to avoid in-person attendance. ISCB will grant remote presentation options for reasons associated to maternity/paternity leave, care for a family member, personal/medical disability, sickness, or visa problems. Presenters are expected to attend in person unless genuine barriers exist. Inability implies circumstance, not choice. If unable to participate in-person you will need to request a waiver by writing This email address is being protected from spambots. Talks will be broadcast live through the virtual platform for participants. All virtual talk presenters will be required to provide a pre-recorded talk in advance of the conference.

Conference Fellowships
ISCB is pleased to offer conference (travel and registration) fellowships to any member in good standing with priority going to members from low or middle income countries as well as students and postdoctoral fellows to attend the conference. Funding sources for Fellowships are very limited and we regret that we are not able to fund all applicants. The conference organizers are committed to providing support to as many eligible applicants as possible. Fellowship consideration is based on membership, accepted work, and country economic status. ISCB Members
If you are a current member of ISCB, you must use the email address registered with your ISCB membership record in order to register at the discounted member rates through the online system.
Non-Members of ISCB
Save money by becoming a member of ISCB during registration. ISCB offers a non-member bundle but if you wish to save more, select ISCB membership when registering and save up to an additional $65 USD. Membership purchases are non-refundable.
ISCB Membership Renewal
If your ISCB membership is not current or will expire on or before the last day of the conference, you will be offered an opportunity to renew your membership as part of your registration fees through the online system. Membership purchases are non-refundable.
Student Council Symposium
The ISCB Student Council Symposium is a student-organized event featuring keynote lectures, oral presentations and a poster session. The Symposium is tailored mainly to undergraduate and graduate students as well as post-docs in computational biology and related disciplines.
The Student Council Symposium is a forum for students and young researchers in the fields of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Participants will have the opportunity to present their work to an international audience, build a network within the computational biology community and develop important soft skills in an environment that fosters an exchange of ideas and knowledge.

Registration for tutorials will close prior to the start of the event, if not already sold out. Register early to avoid disappointment. Important dates are listed at the top of this page and on the key dates page.
The full day rate is charged when taking two half-day in-person or two half-day virtual tutorials (does not apply if combining in-person and virtual tutorials). In-person tutorials will include lunch for those registering for a full day, or two half-day tutorials.

Credit Card
Conference fees are charged in USD. The following credit/gift cards are accepted for registration: MasterCard and Visa.
Cheque
Last day to pay by cheque is June 12, 2026. After this time, only Credit Card payment is accepted
Delegates wishing to pay using a cheque will select “pay by check” on the Payment page during registration to create an invoice. Payment information will be found on the summary page once registration is complete, as well as at the last page of the PDF invoice.
Should funds arrive with bank fees deducted, payment of the difference will be charged to the participant at on-site registration.
Wire Transfer
Last day to pay by wire is June 12, 2026. After this time, only Credit Card payment is accepted
Delegates wishing to pay using a wire transfer will select “pay by wire” on the Additional Options page and the Payment page during registration to create an invoice with wire payment instructions. Wire transfer information will be found on the summary page once registration is complete, as well as on the last page of the PDF invoice.
Please note that a $15.00 wire administration fee must be added during your registration for those choosing to pay by wire transfer. Should funds arrive with bank fees deducted, payment of the difference will be charged to the participant at on-site registration.

Conference Proceedings
Conference proceedings will be available as an open-access, online-only special issue of Bioinformatics after July 16, 2026.

Media Release Statement
ISCB intends to take photographs and video of this event for use in ISCB news, media, and promotional material, in print and electronic, including the ISCB website and social platforms. As an international society, ISCB is GDPR compliant. During your registration, you will be asked to provide ISCB with permission to use any incidental capture of your voice or likeness for our promotional material.
ISCB will record all presentations given at the conference. Presenters will be asked to submit a Confirmation of Participation, during which they will be asked for permission under CC-BY4.0 for ISCB to a) keep the recording and b) share the recording. Instances where permission to keep the recording have been denied will be fulfilled as early as ISCB is able to edit the recordings.
Cancellation Policy

- Delegates registering no later than March 31, 2026 are eligible for a full conference refund at any date prior to the opening day of the conference should your plans change. No cancellation fee applies.
- For delegates registering after March 31, 2026:
- No refunds are available after June 28, 2026.
- Otherwise, they will be refunded less a $50.00 administration fee.
- Membership purchases are non-refundable.
Controlled Access to Meeting Content
Only registered participants will have online access to the conference. Presenters concerned about unpublished data can request that specific slides not be shown. In exceptional cases, the presenter can request that none of their slides be provided online.
