This talk will give an introduction to the F1000Research publishing platform, how the open publishing model works and how we’ve collaborated with various Bioinformatics communities to ensure the platform is somewhere easy and effective to publish articles on software. There will also be discussion on the ISCB F1000Research Gateway and our plans for the future (such as exploring code peer review) to ensure supporting software engineers and researchers continues to be at the forefront of what we do.
